Bonneted and cab-over prime movers, done in the workshop where the glass can be set properly and the truck can sit while it cures.
A prime mover screen is a different animal to a medium truck. The glass is bigger, heavier and usually curved, the aperture is deeper, and on a K200 or an R-series you are working around a sleeper, a bullbar and half a tonne of chrome that nobody wants scratched.
That is why prime movers are a workshop job here rather than a roadside one. Inside, the screen can be set on level ground, the urethane cures in controlled conditions, and the truck is not sitting in the weather while it does.
DAF, Freightliner, Iveco, Kenworth, Mercedes-Benz, Scania and Volvo, all done in our workshop at Kilsyth South.
