Terms of service

These terms apply to windscreen and glass work carried out by Truck Windscreens Melbourne of 3/6-8 Eastspur Court, Kilsyth South VIC 3137.

Quotes

A quote is based on the make, model and year you give us. If the vehicle turns out to be a different specification, or the aperture has damage or corrosion that has to be made good before glass can be set, we will stop, tell you, and agree the change with you before we carry on.

Bookings and access

For mobile work you need to give us safe, legal access to the vehicle and enough room to work beside it. If weather would compromise the fit we will reschedule or move the job into the workshop rather than fit a screen that will leak.

Curing

Urethane needs time to cure. We will tell you when the vehicle is safe to drive. Driving before that time, or slamming doors with the windows up, can move the screen and is not covered by warranty.

Warranty

Every new screen we fit carries a lifetime warranty on our workmanship and on the materials, for as long as you own the vehicle. The warranty covers leaks, wind noise and defects traceable to the fit or the glass. It does not cover new stone damage, impact, accident damage or misuse.

Insurance work

Where you ask us to bill an insurer direct, you authorise us to deal with them on your behalf for that claim. If the insurer declines the claim or pays only part of it, the balance remains payable by you.

Payment

Payment is due on completion unless you hold an account with us, in which case account terms apply. Fleet accounts are invoiced on the agreed cycle.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
